GARMIN VIVOACTIVE

Garmin Vivoactive HR is a very sophisticated, upgraded version of the previous Vivoactive, which is a favorite fitness tracker of a lot of people. HR in the name stands for the Heart Rate monitor, which is a very important innovative feature. Other features are mostly remained the same from its previous version, such as built-in GPS that records your running activity, sleep tracking, on-screen weather reports, and also it has an ability to send vibrating push notifications on your smartphone. The design is slightly different from its predecessor, with bulky form factor and a dim display that holds back what otherwise would have been a major upgrade. It is also slightly thicker and heavier in weight compared to the previous model. Vivoactive HR is mostly made of black plastic with the measurements of 1.19 x 2.24 x 0.45 inches (HWD) and the weight goes only up to 1.67-ounces, making it a very comfortable device for your wrist. Sometimes you will even forget about the presence of this plastic watch on your wrist, because it does not require any physical effort at all. Garmin Vivoactive HR is equipped with 2 control buttons that sit right below the fabulous rectangular display. It is equipped with a watch-like black rubber strap, which is easily removable in order to switch to other colors. Navigation of the touch screen is super simple. Swiping up and down lets you scroll through the fields such as steps counted, stairs climbed, time of day, distance traveled, calories burned, intensity minutes, stats from your last tracked workout, push notifications, current heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate highs and lows and the weather (if you are connected with Garmin Connect app). If you press the left button, the brightness will increase, if you hold it down, the device will turn off. The right button has a function of bringing up a menu of activities to activate, including running, skiing, walking, swimming, bicycling, golfing and much more. Holding it down will open a Settings menu, where you can switch through watch faces, manually sync with an app, download widgets and applications and view your activity history. Garmin Vivoactive HR has certainly a lot to offer, making it a great purchase. It is waterproof and is equipped with GPS that works instantly all the time, is capable of tracking a number of activities and can even tell you the correct time, date as well as the weather. It has everything that a runner needs, and it is rather comfortable to wear, and its backlit display is very easy to see. It is a very helpful tool for people who are engaged in a number of activities..
